I began my career with the Postal Service in November of 1997 as a Letter Carrier. I went to FLETC in February of 2002 to start my career as a Postal Police Officer graduating in April of 2002. I became Secretary-Treasurer of the PPOA in 2009 working with many board members. I  believe as union members, we can be our best advocates or our own worst enemy. If we can't answer this question as a Postal Police Officer, "why should I become a member of the PPOA?" We already lost!
